My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Wilson!!!!  What a card this dashing boy can be.  He comes from a litter of 9 black and white siblings and he is easily the most adventuresome.  While the others are mellow and laid back content to nap and snuggle, Wilson is out and about trying to find ways to entertain himself.   When we think it is time for him to go back to his room for a snack he likes to play 'catch me if you can!' but when you do he is certainly happy for the snuggles that he gets while you carry him and he will give you sweet kisses knowing that he will soon escape again to find new and exciting adventures....it may just be the laundry room to us but to Wilson it is a world of unknown corners to explore!  Lol!  If you would like a character like this little guy in your life please go to our website at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org to fill out the Cat adoption application.

More about this shelter

The ECAS is an all volunteer, no kill shelter. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome pets in need due to neglect, abandonment, abuse or from simply not being wanted! We started in 2010 due to a need in our community. We are currently a foster based organization and we are currently building our new shelter facility. We work hand in hand with other rescue and shelters in the area to help out when and where we are needed.
