Poppy is a Domestic Short Hair (DSH), black, male, 13 weeks of age (7-15-17).

An adorable and adoring feline, Poppy has the heart and personality of a big, sweet softie. He's a courageously curious kitten who thoroughly enjoys playtime with other felines -- whether big cats or small kittens and just about anything in between, he’ll be seeking them out with invitations to join him in play. He loves being the center of attention and is extremely comfortable with people; he doesn't waste any time getting that purr motor going.

Poppy is best suited as an indoor pet and companion for a home with a moderately-active lifestyle.

As with all Monroe SPCA adoptable cats, a home visit and a meet-n-greet with any housemate pets will be required prior to adoption.

Poppy currently resides at Monroe SPCA’s Adoption Center and Resale Store/The Fur Factory. You can meet him Tuesday – Thursday, 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm, Friday 11:00 am - 1:00 pm, or by appointment; closed Sunday, Monday, and National Holidays.

All Monroe SPCA cats available for adoption have an adoption fee of $75.00. This fee includes the cat being spayed or neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, and micro-chipped prior to adoption.
