My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lauren is a real treasure. We bought her freedom at a Missouri dog auction where breeders go to buy and sell their "stock".  She is six and a half, and full of fun and energy. After living in a small cage, in her own waste, making puppies to sell, she has found that the freedom to run, play, get hugs and be loved is a much better way to live. She gets along well with other dogs, likes to play, but can get a little bossy. Plenty of the Westietude we love so much, but also very affectionate. She  would rather be with her human. Still a bit shy, but she does very well with one or two people at a time. She does not know her name, so a new one will be fine with her. She has been spayed, had a physical and dental care, is up to date on vaccinations (except Lyme. We don't have that here in Kansas) She is ready for her forever family. Her adoption fee is $750. Yes, she is available. No, she is not potty trained. No, you can't come and meet her, unless you are planning on a trip to Kansas. Once she is spoken for, she will be transported from our rehab facility in Kansas to our headquarters in Rye, NH.
