Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Chuckie is a come-back kid! Chuckie had a lot of pent up energy when we first rescued him and he needed time and socialization to relax around certain people and loosen up. At heart, Chuckie is sweet and loves human affection- especially from women. He also is good on leash and likes to walk, sometimes jog. He is very friendly with most of the many dogs he shares space with at the center, but mostly cares about his human buddies.
He can have a nervous/defensive tendency around certain people and will communicate this with body language and growl, as a sign to leave him be. During his social growth, he has bitten and nipped. He is loyal once he connects with you and will have a happy goofy tongue out face all day long.
His new home should be relaxed with a committed owner who will provide comfort and structure along with lots of love! Best without small children.
