Muffin's Story...
Meet Muffin! Muffin is a very sweet pup who has had very little handling in her life and it takes some time for her to trust humans. She is learning to open up and become curious of people but what Muffin lacks in confidence with humans, she more than makes up for with her relationships with other dogs! She thrives with canine interaction and, because of this, does require a dog-friend in her new home. She loves to hang, cuddle, mimic, and romp with her furry foster siblings - she gets quite silly when she's playing! Muffin does very well with her potty-training when she is kept on a consistent schedule. She does know how to use a doggy door but is still learning to use it when she needs to go potty. Muffin can be trusted in a fenced in yard not to escape and she is crate trained and will find comfort in her kennel when stressed out. Little humans terrify Muffin so a home with no small children would be best. Muffin has typical puppy behavior so will need a variety of chew toys in her new home to keep her occupied and happy. If you have a furry friend seeking a new BFF and you are willing to let Muffin warm up to you in her own time, apply to meet Muffin today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Muffin, a Cheyenne Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Rhodesian Ridgeback dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Rhodesian Ridgeback for sale in Cheyenne, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Rhodesian Ridgeback dog from a breeder in Cheyenne.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cheyenne already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cheyenne breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Rhodesian Ridgeback breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Rhodesian Ridgeback rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cheyenne paves the way for another one to be saved.
