Tootsie is a sweet and affectionate Dachshund. She is playful and friendly. She is not a snappy dog and is a great size for an indoor dog. She lived with other dogs in an outside environment but is now fostered in a home with other dogs. Tootsie is already housetrained. She is about 4 years old, spayed and current on rabies shot.

This is not a HSMC dog. This is a courtesy listing for someone that needs to rehome their pet. If interested, please email us at HSMC2000@gmail.com or leave a message for Jeannie at 864-391-2349 and we'll arrange for you to meet him.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Courtesy: Tootsie, a McCormick Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in McCormick, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in McCormick.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in McCormick already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a McCormick breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in McCormick paves the way for another one to be saved.
