My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Personality: He is a loving, sweet boy and once he is attached will be protective. Once that happens he will be uneasy around “strange” men but after introduction he is fine. He is a intelligent dog that likes to explore and be kept busy. If not simulated he will eat anything he can find, especially paper products. He is patient which helps with training and grooming. As being a herd dog he will try to herd other household pets. As such “nipping” the air is part of his behavior.

History: We rescued him when he was one. We have had him for the last 3 years but because of some tragic circumstances we are losing our home and we need to find him a good one.

Type of home: He is perfect for a person who is very active and looking for an dog buddy to join them. He is amazing at hiking, camping, and is a good road partner. He needs a back yard to run and play. Both physical and mental exercises are essential to keep him occupied and “out of trouble” because he is a herding dog. Optimally, Navin needs to be exercised to the point of “tiredness” daily.

Weight: 45 lb

Age: 4 years old

Coat: He does shed little bit. Top coat is dense and soft.

Training: He knows the commands sit, down, over, drop, leave it, and walks on leash.

Housetrained: Yes.

Crate trained: Yes

Health: Healthy, microchip, and neutered.

Good with Dogs: Yes. He is great with small or large dogs.
Good with Kids: Yes.
Good with Cats: No
