Meet Charlie, a fabulous sleek and shiny girl aged around 4 and a half years. Charlie was rescued from the tough streets of Phuket, Thailand in 2013. After spending over 2 and a half years at Soi Dog’s shelter, she made the long journey to her new home in Canada in December 2015.
Unfortunately, Charlie’s owners’ circumstances have changed and they are no longer able to look after her. So Charlie is looking for a new home in Canada. She has come a long way since leaving the shelter. Charlie is used to the routines of living in a home. She understands basic commands and will do anything for a treat! She can be cautious of new people and experiences, but loves to sniff and investigate once she feels more comfortable.
Charlie is looking for a home with an experienced adopter or foster, who has the time, patience and determination to help her to continue to learn and develop. She is smart and curious: once she’s settled she would benefit from training or classes to develop her social skills with people and other dogs. An enclosed garden with lots of space to practice her skills would be ideal, with plenty of space nearby for long walks, and a comfy sofa for snuggles after a tiring day.
Charlie is fit and healthy and her vaccinations are up to date. She currently lives in Ontario, Canada. We are keen to find her a home close by, but would be very happy to consider adopters from nearby provinces. If you would like to find out more about Charlie, please email teresa@soidog.org.
