My story

Tucker is fostered in York, Pennsylvania through United Yorkie Rescue http://unitedyorkierescue.org
Tucker is a 3 yr. old, 15 lb. love bug who came to United Yorkie Rescue in July 2017.
Tucker will give tons of kisses and snuggle on your lap, but is also content just to lay on the floor near his family. He loves to go for walks and does very well using a harness and leash, he'll go a mile and a half without any problems. Tucker is comfortable around small dogs, but not large dogs. He shows an interest in cats and playfully chases them (cats beware, friendly mischief will be engaged!).
Tucker does his business outside and to date, has not had any accidents in the house. He is crate trained and currently sleeps in his crate at night without any resistance. The ideal family for Tucker would consist of at least a male figure as he is very drawn to his foster dad and no children under the age of 12. He loves being with his family so someone who is home a lot would be a good fit. A fenced in yard would also be preferred as he loves to run and often takes off after wildlife. Tucker would do well as the only dog in the family or with a fur sibling that is his size or smaller, preferably a female. The family that gets to call Tucker their own will be very lucky!
