My story

We'd like to introduce you to a beautiful second chance dog that our foster decided to name Watermelon.....yes, because she LOVES watermelon!
Rescued from the streets of Southeast Dallas TX after being on her own for more than a year, we are so happy we were able to help her because her personality and temperament are exceptional! She loves dogs, people (big and small), cats and boy does she love life!
Mellie had a rough start in life but you'd never know it with this sweet girl - she's about 1.5 years old, recently spayed and we've had all of her vaccines updated. She's HW negative, weighs 51.3 lbs., has a laid back demeanor and she's curious about everything!
We're treating her for a slight case of demodectic mange (not contagious and easily treatable) and our efforts are showing because she's got a beautiful coat - her fish hook tail is lovely, her playful attitude wins over all the dogs at her fosters home.

We're looking for a special home for a special girl - one that will treat her like the princess she is. Not too many dogs make it off the streets of SE Dallas, it's a bad place for dogs. We want the best for this little gem of a pup!
