SMOOCHES is a one-year old black and white male cat. Smooches’ owner unfortunately experienced some health issues, and could no longer keep this young boy. That he was loved and cared for is quite apparent; he is in excellent health and has incredible social skills, with both humans and other cats. Despite being in a strange environment, and away from the only home he’s ever known, Smooches is so easy-going that he’s had no adaption issues at all. He loves visitors, and will bounce right over as if he’s known you his entire short life. He’s just full of personality, and he makes us laugh with his antics. If you’ve got a spot for an affectionate and a really, really cute feline, we’ve got the boy for you!
At PAAWS RI, all of the cats that come into our care are spayed/neutered, receive a rabies vaccination, distemper vaccinations, de-worming, flea treatment, microchipping, testing for Feline Leukemia/FIV, and a fecal test.

Our shelter is located in the Care for Animals veterinary hospital, at 2944 Post Road, Warwick, RI 02886. You are welcome to visit during the following hours: Monday and Tuesday 8 am to 5 pm, Wednesday 12 pm to 7 pm, Thursday 8 am to 5 pm, and Friday 9 am to 1 pm. Very young kittens are in foster homes, not at the shelter. If you are interested in adopting a young kitten please fill out our adoption application.
We have an Adoption Open House every Saturday from 10 am to 12 noon -- hope to see you there! We're also happy to set up appointments.
