Hey guys, this is Ash. I guess I got nominated for the FDNL 2017 Coolest Dog of the Year award. I was pretty surprised! Cuz like, it’s my first time competing, and I have heard that there were some pretty cool dogs in the competition. I guess that there are a lot of factors that go into nominations. But since I have such a great personality and am very loving and playful with other dogs and children, I got kinda fast-tracked to the top of the list. I didn’t even know I could be a candidate! I was just doing things how I normally do. I guess they really liked how quickly I took to the crate-training program here at the shelter and how intelligent I am. It didn’t even matter that I don’t get along with cats. After all, no one is perfect. It is a really nice honor, and it feels good to have some recognition after all the turmoil life has thrown at me. I am not going to let it go to my head or anything, and you know, I’m just going to keep doing what I do and wish everyone the best of luck. 9 months old-43 pounds. My adoption fee is $260 and includes neuter, microchip & registration, 1 month pet health insurance, free vet exam, reduced-cost training class, leash/collar, toy and treat packet, food sample.
