My story

This beautiful girl is Faith and she's a total cuddle bug waiting for her forever home. She is a 6.5 year old Lab/Pit Bull mix who weighs about 55 lbs. Faith was found on the streets in Oklahoma and is currently in a foster home with another dog she loves to play with.

Faith loves to please and cuddle and play tug-of-war. She is really smart as she already knows sit and shake. Faith also loves to go on car rides! She loves to play with toys and with her foster dog sibling. Faith is good with other dogs and she would do well with older children but due to her size and energy she may not be good for smaller kids.

Faith would like a home with an active person or family who makes sure she gets daily exercise. She just wants to please her people and spend time with them. She needs a home with a stockade 6 ft fence and a nice yard to play in.

Faith is crate, leash, and house trained. She is a strong puller though so an easy-walk harness is suggested.

Faith is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on her shots. Her adoption fee is $200.

If you would like to adopt Faith and make her a part of your family, please contact ForeverYoursOKC@gmail.com.

Additional adoption info

Every dog that is rescued by Forever Yours is checked by a veternarian, vaccinated, spay/neutered, dewormed, heartworm/ehrlichia tested and treated if needed, and microchipped. We also treat any other illnesses or issues that the dog may have on intake.

We require an adoption application (FYDRadopt.com), a house check, and our adoption fee is $175.00.

If available, you will get an opportunity to talk to your chosen pet's foster family when you meet your potential new family member. This will enable you to ask any questions and learn all about your pet.

Forever Yours Dog Rescue does not have a facility, all of our wonderful rescues are in foster homes with families that take care of them and love them until their forever homes come along.

More about this rescue

Forever Yours Dog Rescue was founded on November 8th, 2011, with the mission of helping smaller animal shelters located throughout Oklahoma.

We are an Oklahoma City based all-breed 501(c) dog rescue, caring for the unwanted, abandoned, and abused dogs of Oklahoma. We rescue from local shelters and shelters throughout Oklahoma. We do take owner surrender's under certain situations.

We advocate spay/neuter and offer assistance in finding a low-cost option for those that qualify.

We promote adoption as an alternative to buying your pet.
We provide pet ownership education through materials, counceling, and on-site workshops, at no cost to the public, with an emphasis on preventative care.

We are all volunteer based, with no paid employees.
Please support us in our mission to attain a time in Oklahoma when there are homes for all adoptable pets by donating at www.foreveryoursokc.org/donate.
