My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Andy is a 2 year old 25 pound male Cocker Spaniel or close mix. Andy is a sweet fellow who yearns for your attention and affection. His owner left him with a friend "for a few days" which stretched into several months. The friend could not have pets in his home, so Andy was chained outside for all that time.

When we got Andy he was very, very matted and very, very smelly. He immediately went into grooming followed by a thorough bath to get rid of the thousands of fleas living on him along with the dirt and the smell. Andy is shown with all his long matted hair shaved away. It will grow back and be soft and curly. After Andy had his beauty treatment, he was very happy and appreciative. He will gladly sit or lay beside you for hours and craves human attention. Andy can use a doggie door, is crate trained and gets along fine with other dogs.

Andy has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and treated for heartworms. He'll need four weeks of limited activity, and then will be good as ever. His adoption fee is $250.00
