My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mo is a 2 year old 28 pound male Cocker Spaniel or close mix. Mo is a sweet fellow who yearns for your attention and affection. His owner left him with a friend "for a few days" which stretched into several months. The friend could not have pets in his home, so Mo was chained outside for all that time.

When we got Mo he was very, very matted and very, very smelly. You can see his "before" photo with his wooly ears. He immediately went into grooming followed by a thorough bath to get rid of the thousands of fleas living on him along with the dirt and the smell. Mo is shown with all his long matted hair shaved away. It will grow back and be soft and curly. After Mo had his beauty treatment, he was very happy and appreciative. He will gladly sit or lay beside you for hours and craves human attention. Mo can use a doggie door, is crate trained and gets along fine with other dogs.

Mo has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and treated for heartworms. He'll need four weeks of limited activity, and then will be good as ever. His adoption fee is $250.00
