My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*********************Courtesy Listing********************
Cookie came into foster care to get over her spay surgery and she is now ready for her forever home. She has two main loves in life - being around people and playing with plush toys. While in the house she is the perfect little lady. She is so happy to just be around you, although she is never in your face. She is perfectly happy to sit with you and play with her toys. Once you get up however, you will have a little yellow shadow. She will follow you wherever you go. She has shown very strong signs of being housetrained, although all dogs will need a week or two to adjust to a new routine. This sweet girl has shown that she is also great with kids, though not great with cats, so she will need a cat free home. Cookie was almost adopted but the home's resident dog attacked her and since then she has been very leery of other dogs. So although she will probably be fine with a male dog down the road, we now think that she will need a only dog home. As a shelter dog she had to pass a series of temperament tests in order to be adoptable. She has no food/toy/human aggression. In fact she is just the opposite. You actually have to sit with her to get her to eat her meals! I have even taken treats out of her mouth while she was still chewing them. loves toys, housebroken, great with kids, and a wonderful temperament - what more could you ask for?
