My story

Hey Everyone, my name is Ethyl.

My sister and I were rescued from a pretty bad situation. We were starving, very thin and the entire situation was sad and desperate.

Something fortunate and very happy happened and we were rescued from that situation. We went to the vet, were spayed, tested for FIV/FeLV, checked over completely by the vet and then we were able to come here to the cat sanctuary.

My sister Edith was a bit more shy than me and she recently found a home, so HEY now it's my turn!

I am called a tortoiseshell cat by humans, my cat friends just call me beautiful!!!

They say I was born in June of 2016 - that makes me almost 3 years old. I have the run of the place here at least that's what I tell the other cats. I am so looking forward to my own place. I would love other cats to play with, but not too thrilled about living with children or dogs.

I also love to cuddle so I hope you have a great lap for me to cuddle on. Us tortoiseshell cats have to keep up our image, so I like to race around a little and be the Queen for a bit. But I can be absolutely crazy as I love to turn upside down just so you can pet me!

I am an one and only with my unique coloring.
