Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello. This is our cat Oliver.
My husband and I purchased him back in 2010 from a Ragdoll Breeder on Long Island, NY. He turned 7 in April 2017. Oliver is a BEAUTIFUL cat. As with most Ragdolls, he is very docile, calm and goes limp when you pick him up. He is not clingy, but doesn't like to be alone - he will typically follow from room to room and make himself comfortable while you cook, watch TV or whatever. He loves to be brushed - and requires A LOT of brushing to keep his fur from matting. We have never experienced any heath issues or behavioral issues. Since adopting Oliver, we have gotten married and have had 2 children and we both work full time. It has been very difficult to give Oliver the attention that he deserves. After many many considerations, we decided it may be best to try and find Oliver a new home. We truly hope we can find someone that can give him all the love and attention he needs. As much as it breaks our heart to have to give him up, we feel it would be for the best. Please reach out with any questions and we would be happy to answer. We are located in East Islip, NY (Long Island).
P.S. - If you do decide to meet Oliver, right now he is shaved (lion cut). In the hot summer months, ragdolls shed A LOT to keep themselves cool. It's easier for him as well as us to shave him in during the summer. His coat usually grows back completely by mid Fall.
