Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Cubby is a long-haired doxie mix, about 3 years old, weighing about 15 pounds. Cubby is a very sweet, loving lap dog. Once he considers you a friend, he will follow you around! Cubby suffers from anxiety when left alone. This culminates itself through excessive drooling. Cubby will need AN EXPERIENCED OWNER who has dealt with anxiety. A family who has someone home often and has time to work him and his special needs IS REQUIRED to adopt Cubby. Please no apartments or attached living situations, as Cubby does bark when left alone.
To adopt Cubby, please fill out an application on our website at www.harttn.org under the "get involved" tab. In your email, please include your experience with a special-needs dog and current vet reference. ANY APPLICATION SENT WITHOUT THIS INFO WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. We want what's best for Cubby.
All HART dogs are fully vetted prior to adoption. This means spayed/neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested and on prevention. Adoption fees vary and depend on type of dog, vetting costs, etc. If a dog is listed on this PetFinder page, he/she is still available.
