Meet Squirt. He came into UYR from a hoarding situation. Squirt is 5 years old and weighs only 5 lbs. His adoption fee is $450. He is being fostered in Seminole, FL.
INITIAL BIO 08/12/2017: Squirt came into UYR today from an horrendous hoarding situation. Here's what he had to say when he landed in his foster home.
Squirt here. I’ve had a B-I-G day. See, I arrived in my foster home after a really long trip, and my Foster Mom already had my bath ready for me. She was expecting me and she was so glad to see me – I’ve never had a human glad to see me before – it felt really nice. I liked the bath and I was a good boy – it felt really good on my skin where I have sores on am missing some hair. Foster Mom said I am a sweet boy and very calm.
I sat on my Foster Dad’s lap while my foster brother Danny Boy was having his bath; I’m kinda liking it here since my other home didn’t smell so good and I didn’t get warm baths and cuddles afterwards. I just wanted to stay on Foster Dad’s lap, but Foster Mom said I had to eat so she put me in my crate with my soft nice-smelling bed and a bowl full of food and water. Ahhhhhh, life is finally good.
PLEASE NOTE: UYR took in a total of 11 dogs today from this hoarding situation, including Squirt. None of these dogs received any routine veterinarian care and all will need to receive vaccinations, worming, microchips, dentals, fecals, HW testing and will be altered. Please help us help Squirt and the other precious yorkies taken in today by donating to their vetting expenses, which will be very high due to the number of dogs coming in today.
