Hello everyone! My name is Basil. I was born June 7, 2017. I am active, playful and very silly. I love to tackle my feline friends and wrestle with them. I would really like to find a home with another kitty to play with (my brother Dill is up for adoption, too ... hint, hint). I am sweet and affectionate and I like to sleep in bed with my people at night. I love to jump, climb and wrestle with my siblings. I like people, they’re fun to play with, too, and I enjoy being petted. I use the litterbox like a good little kitty! I am microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and neutered. Adoption fee: $100. Adopt a pair: $150. Fee includes testing, deworming, vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip and 30 days of free pet insurance.

PetPeople, 6520 Telegraph Rd., Bloomfield Hills. From 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., come meet adoptable cats and kittens on the 4th Saturday each month (as available - not all adoptable animals will be at every event).
Adoption event dates for 2018: January 27, February 24, March 24, April 28, May 26, June 23, July 28, August 25, September 22 and October 27. NO events in November and December 2018.
Adoption Process: Complete the application at
www.pawsforliferescue.org. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the mandatory, minimum two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. You will pay the non-refundable adoption fee at the start of the two-week adjustment period. This pending period allows your new dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
