This beautiful girl is Butch!! She is a 1 year old redbone hound dog. Thanks to our amazing donors, Butch has been treated for heartworms and is now ready to find her forever family. Butch is your stereotypical hound dog-- she is all legs, ears, and NOSE! Man, that nose will take her anywhere. Butch can escape a fenced yard so leash walking is a must. She is a dog with a high drive who would love to find an active family with hound knowledge and a good plan for training! She would make a great running, hiking, or biking buddy-- she will definitely need daily exercise! She gets along great with other dogs, is very interested in but gentle and adoring of cats, and we think she would be perfect for a family with children. Butch doesn't know a stranger!! She loves attention, playing, and has boundless energy and love. Butch is crate trained and house trained when kept on a schedule. At only a year old, she has so much to learn and is definitely a quick learner. She's smart and a people pleaser and will make a great, loyal companion for the right person. Butch is ready to find out what forever really means-- take a chance on her!
