My story

Approximate DOB is May 2017.

Dorinda is a love but will be shy at first. Once comfortable, Dorinda loves to plop down and get pets, but she is not really interested in being held. She loves to play and look out windows at birds. Dorinda even talks to the birds sometimes. She plays with the other kitties in the house but is just as happy to play by herself. She would be most happy to be the only pet in the house. Chasing mice and crinkle balls is her favorite thing to do. She also will sometimes plop down on the floor and roll around. Are you the perfect family for Dorinda?

To fill out an application please email us at PurRescue@yahoo.com.

All cats are fully vetted, including spay/neuter, testing for FeLV/FIV, fecal and age appropriate shots. The adoption fee is $100 which helps to offset some of our vetting costs.

More about this rescue

PurRescue was founded in July of 2017 by rescuers who have been fostering since 2007 for other organizations. We are a small group that primarily rescues cats and finds them fur-ever homes with deserving families. Occasionally we also rescue dogs in need. We engage in TNR, Trap-Neuter-Return of community cats in order to reduce the population of unwanted cats.
