My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bryce and Abby are a young pair of bonded guinea pigs who met in the Rescue. Bryce is a neutered black Teddy with a spot of brown who was born in late November. Abby is a spayed brown Abyssinian who was part of a group of guinea pigs surrendered to a local shelter because of “too many animals.” She is about 8 months old.

Bryce and Abby are sweet piggies who love to be cuddled. Bryce will climb on you and snuggle under your neck. Abby loves to be pet and will sit still for a long time just relaxing in your lap. They like to run around and explore their cage after it is cleaned. Their favorite place to hang out is their big brown bag filled with hay where they relax and munch the day away. When its nice outside they love to play and squeak in the grass (of course while properly supervised and in a secure pen). Although they are shy, they love being around people and loudly insist that it must be snack time even if they have just been fed.

Bryce and Abby have an excellent appetite for their Oxbow Cavy Performance pellets and Timothy hay. They enjoy a variety of fresh vegetables twice a day. Bryce and Abby will need to live in a Cubes and Coroplast cage of at least 2 cubes by 4 cubes and be in a family part of the house so everyone can enjoy their company. We also ask that anyone adopting them lives a reasonable driving distance from Rockville, MD.
