Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Beau, I was originally brought in to Maricopa County Animal care on July 15th of this year as a stray, I was labeled a pit bull mix and approximately 18 months old. During my stay I developed kennel cough and had to be isolated, originally it was thought that I could not shake this cold and was placed on THAT list. I was lucky enough to go into foster with Creative Contributions. Shortly after it was realized I was quite healthy and was ready for adoption. I am neutered, the veterinarian thinks that I'm actually about 8 to 10 month old, and will probably grow a little more. As far as my breed the consensus is that I am more than likely a hound mix of some sort; whether it be Greyhound, Rhodesian Ridgeback, Vizsla, Great Dane or perhaps even Weimaraner. Regardless I'm happy healthy dog that's looking for a forever home. I'm a quick study, so far I've learned how to use a doggie door, know how to sit, lay down, roll over, stay, come here, house trained, love walking on a leash, and I am crate trained. Granted because of my age I will still need a little bit of help keeping these new tricks and commands in my repertoire. I weigh approximately 51 lb, the veterinarian thinks I'm going to gain at least 15 to 20 more, I'm very agile, enjoy playing with dogs of all sizes, and would do best in a home that has older children, a large fenced in yard, and someone who would love an exercise companion. My coat is short and brindle in color, I have a very healthy appetite I absolutely love riding in cars. Because of my age I do have a habit of chasing things specifically bicycles and cars however I am redirectable. I prefer sitting on a couch and laying in bed however my foster parents are currently trying to get me to realize that that's not necessarily my place in this world.
