My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

September 2017: This precious little lady is Lola, a 4-5 year old Rat Terrier mix. She was found as a stray and was never claimed, as is often the case with southern rescue dogs. Since being rescued, she has been doing fantastic in foster - she is good with other dogs but doesn't have a lot of experience with kids or cats. We can certainly find out more if you would like to know.

Lola weighs 12 lbs and she is house-trained, uses a crate, and is ready to find her forever family. Since coming to Maine she has entered a foster home with another dog a bit bigger than her, and some tropical birds. She snuggles with her foster dad in bed and she is just a lovebug!

To learn more about Lucky Pup Rescue, please visit our website: www.luckypuprescue.org. If you have interest in any of our dogs, please fill out the application and we'll work with you to find a great match for your family: http://www.luckypuprescue.org/#!adoption-application/c1aw8.

Please note, we do not have a physical facility where our dogs are housed, they are cared for in our network of wonderful foster homes throughout New England. If you find a dog you would like to meet, our expectation is that, once approved, you will travel to meet the dog in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved.

Thank you for considering rescue!
