Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We took in a little 5 year old, 10 pound yorkie named Rocko. He was surrendered by a family who didn't have time to give him the attention he needs. He seems to do fine with other dogs and doesn't seem to bother cats. He has LOTS of energy and really needs someone who is active and can take him on at least 2 walks a day. He is housebroken. He is very faithful and loving to his caretakers, but is wary of strangers.
He is very scared of getting groomed and having his nails trimmed, so he will need an owner who can get him somewhat sedated to have a grooming every once in a while. When we received him, his hair was very matted and embedded. We had to shave him down.
We are recommending an all adult home (children over 16).
If you are interested in Rocko, please fill out the online application at: www.mcpawscare.org, and click on adoption form.
NOTE!!!! We will ONLY respond when an application has been delivered and approved. We are an all volunteer organization who mostly all work full-time jobs. Please be patient with our process. Thank you!
