Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Gracie is a calm and surprisingly well-mannered 56 pound Great Dane mix. She came from a middle-Georgia animal control whee she had no chance for adoption. The staff reported her breed as Great Dane mix and indicated that she was 5 months old. Our vet says that Gracie is closer to 12 months. She has all her adult teeth, so we know she is at least 6 months of age. She may grow a little more, depending on her genetics and true age. Gracie is well filled-out, so we know she was fed well in her former home. She was also flea-free. It is puzzling to wonder why her previous family didn't reclaim her...
In a few minutes we taught Gracie to sit and lay down. She is very smart! Gracie is super affectionate and will try to climb into your lap, tail wagging all the time. She loves soft squeaky toys and looks downright silly running with a pink elephant toy in her mouth. She can use a doggie door and is house trained and crate trained.
An ideal home for Gracie will have a fenced yard and a doggie door or someone who is home a lot to let her out for potty breaks until she is settled in.
Gracie has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and tested negative for heartworms. Her adoption fee is $250.
