Yoda's Story...
Just arrived from Istanbul, Turkey! We think this tiny 1.5 year old foxy-looking girl is one of the most adorable creatures we've ever seen. We're calling her a Pomeranian mix, but we're not really sure what she is. Yoda was found living in the breezeway of an apartment complex along with another dog named Audrey Hepburn. Residents had been throwing food to them from the upper floors, but thankfully one of them realized it was no life for a dog, and asked for our help. We're told that Yoda is extremely social, very playful and that she loves every person and dog that she meets. What a great little package!

If you're interested in adopting Yoda, please submit an application which can be found under "Our Dogs" at www.kyrasrescue.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Yoda, a Washington Pomeranian/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian/Chihuahua for sale in Washington, or seeking a Pomeranian/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Washington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Washington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Washington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian/Chihuahua breeders who help with Pomeranian/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Washington paves the way for another one to be saved.
