Jacob is a shy boy who enjoys taking naps in his carrier, being pet on the back, and eating freeze-dried chicken treats. Jacob prefers to sit or stand on his own while being pet, and prefers not to be picked up. Jacob will meow if he wants food or attention. When he wants to be pet, he arches his back and walks sideways, while meowing and purring.
Jacob is not as playful as his brother, Jasper, and prefers to watch instead, but is more likely to approach you first to be pet. He can be a little timid and will take time to adjust to a new family and home. Jacob spends plenty of time at his brother’s side, especially when sleeping.
Jacob is looking for a home with no dogs and kids who are 13 years of age or older only. A home with another friendly cat would be acceptable. Jacob and his brother, Jasper, are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. Jacob will make a great companion for someone who will approach his shyness by acting slowly and allowing him to feel comfortable at his own pace. Jacob is looking for his forever home with his brother, Jasper, where he will be welcomed into the family and kept safely indoors.
