My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Beautiful Haley is a 6 year old female Basenji or Basenji mix. She looks and acts very much like a pure bred Basenji but we do not know her parentage so she may be a mix. Haley is housebroken, has not been house destructive here at all, prefers being a couch potato and being inside to outdoor activities. She is crate trained, somewhat shy and prefers to make up to you rather than having you pursue her. She is a bit aloof so it will take time to make up with her. She was surrendered to a local shelter by her owners who could no longer care for her. They gave the shelter very little information about her so we have taken a month to evaluate her before listing her and found her to be very nice and quiet, well behaved with our other dogs and oblivious of the resident cat.

***UPDATE - Haley sings! She has that Basenji vocabulary and greets us happily now!***

Haley is spayed and current on her vaccinations. Her adoption donation is $175.00. Haley is currently located in Edmonton, KY (1 1/2 hours south of Louisville, KY, and 1 1/2 hours north of Nashville, TN.) She can also travel to the right home almost anywhere in the country if you are willing to help with transportation. Visitation by appointment. Hours are extremely flexible.
