Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Crusoe is a six year old neutered Collie / Keeshond mix. He weighs 55lbs and is 22 inches high. This easy going guy has a pleasant temperament. He is polite to aloof with strangers, and loving, loyal and affectionate with his family.
Crusoe has lived all his life with his owner. She will be moving soon and he is unable to go with her. Crusoe is fine with children but really has little interest in kids. He would be the most happy in a home with another dog, preferably a calm but playful female. He loves to play the game chase. He has a great time with the herding breeds. Crusoe lived with cats and will chase them, if they run.
He won't hurt them.
Crusoe is a great watch dog. He will bark (he has a cool deep bark) but he is not aggressive. He looks out for his small dog buddies and is very tolerant of cranky old dogs.
He has medium energy, and because he is in great shape he could use a 45min power walk / run or game of chuck-it every day. He knows sit, down & stay.
Crusoe is an easy button dog with so much love to give. He needs a home with a fenced yard (not electic/invisible fence). And he needs a home where he doesn’t have to be left long hours regularly without his humans.
