My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Walker, I'm 8 years old and I just finished up my heartworm treatment. I have had to be calm and quiet during my treatment but am starting to show my foster family my “spunky” side. I have so much more energy now than I did when I first came into rescue several months ago. I am a good-looking liver and white brittany but am still very skinny. I love to eat so it shouldn’t take long to put on some weight! I am house and crate trained but need some work on house manners, basic commands and leash walking. I sure am willing to learn so I can make my new family proud of me. I currently live with 2 other dogs and 2 toddlers in my foster home. I get along fine with all of them. I try to play with the other dogs whenever I get the chance. We all hang around the house while our foster family is at work and school. At night, I like to sleep on a comfy beanbag chair or my crate. Now that my heartworm treatment is finished, I am ready to get a second chance at life. I don’t require too much … just love and attention. I will give the same to you in return. I would love to spend the holidays with my new forever family. History
I was found as a stray in North Carolina. After I was taken into foster care, we found out that I had heartworm disease. I have been undergoing treatment.
