My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Marley #8171 is a 8-year-old male, German Shepherd mix. He is a friendly young man who likes everyone. He was adopted from a breeder as a puppy and lived his life with the same family until recently. Unfortunately, they can no longer keep him. He is housetrained. He knows basic commands, especially when treats are involved; he loves treats. He mostly loves spending time with his family wherever they are. He enjoys going for walls and is great on leash. He also enjoys playing in a fenced in backyard. He will keep you compy if you garden or mow the lawn. He grew up with a little girl who is now 15 years old, he slept between her bed and the door to keep her safe at night. He was friendly with his neighbor’s dogs. During his transition he lived in a house with two other dogs and they we good together. He ignores the cats he sees on his walks and is used to being with cats that are familiar with dogs. He has a nice wool blanket that he likes to sleep on. He weighs 88 pounds and is full grown. This pup is microchipped. We believe you can always teach an ‘old’ dog new tricks so we highly recommend continued obedience training for this smart pup; it stimulates the dog's mind and establishes a good dog/adopter relationship.
