Here's what the humans have to say about me:
ntroducing Willy the Wonder, a tiny 6 pound dachshund, 12 year old boy who spreads joy where ever he goes with a wink and a cuddle.
Willy was born with one eye but this doesn’t slow him down one bit! Willy loves car rides and going for walks on his leash. Willy enjoys the company of other dogs but would be best in a home without cats. Willy has not been tested with children.
Willy is crate trained. He is so well trained with a potty pad that he will roll it up after he uses it so as not to have soiled conditions in the area he is in! What a GOOD boy! Willie will go to the bathroom outside, but he needs to be reminded every 2 hours that it is time to go. He much prefers potty pads. Like all dachshunds he will need to be confident in his environment to have good potty habits. All rescue dogs go thru a period of adjustment so understanding and patience.
Willy really likes food and will try and steal food from his foster siblings and can be a bit cranky about food at times.
Willy sleeps in his own area in his foster home in Florida because he will torment the kitty of the house, but he would love to sleep in a big bed with his person
Willy is a cuddly boy who would like his own personal lap. Are you going to be the lucky one to open your arms and welcome him home?
