Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Xena #8124 is a 1-year-old female, Terrier mix. She is a very sweet girl. Her fosters called her Cersei and she responds to that. She is one of many animals that were in Texas shelters before the hurricane. She is crate trained and housebroken. She is not big at going in her crate but will go when a treat or toy is put in. She is a little strong on a leash and is learning basic commands. She is a smart girl. She wants to be the queen of the house so we feel she would do best in a home without other dogs. She loves spending time with her people and will follow you around the house and she loves to snuggle. She loves kong toys, the kong tire is her favorite. She would do well with an active family that likes to take their friend with them. She enjoys dog parks and the company of others. She enjoys running in the back yard but she does dig some, so if you have a fence it must be secure. She likes to run and will sneak out the front door if she gets a chance, then thinks you are playing when trying to catch her. So probably no young children that may give her an opportunity to escape. She weighs 45 pounds and is full grown. This pup is microchipped. We believe you can always teach an ‘old’ dog new tricks so we highly recommend continued obedience training for this smart pup; it stimulates the dog's mind and establishes a good dog/adopter relationship.
