Heidi's Story...
Heidi is a 4-month-old blue-eyed pit bull terrier. She is house broken and is currently going to pit bull school where she is learning her basic training. Heidi is outgoing social girl. She gets along with other dogs and has proven to us to have a rock solid temperament. Her favorite things are the beach, playing ball, playing with other dogs and giving lots of wet kisses. Heidi is still growing and will be a rather large dog.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Heidi, a Berkeley American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Berkeley, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Berkeley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berkeley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berkeley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berkeley paves the way for another one to be saved.
