My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Max, AKA Valentino, was picked up as a stray. He is 80 lbs and skinny, so will be a very big boy!
Max is neutered and up to date on vaccinations.
He is being treated for heartworm this week. Anyone adopting him will have to keep him quiet (leash walks only) for a few weeks!

This is a very sweet dog who likes everyone. He is approximately 2 years old, and plays like a puppy/ Max knows sit and down, and is excellent on a leash. He is not totally housetrained yet, but that should not take long! He gives up his toys and food without a problem.

We have not seen Max with children, but given his wonderful personality, he would probably do fine! We would love to see him in a home with a family!

Max was at a kennel for a week with cats, and showed little interest in them.

Max is living in N NJ with his foster family right now. We ask that the application be completed prior to meeting him.
