My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is DUKE. What’s yours? Nice to meet ya!

Hey! Before you get attached to me, read all the way to the bottom. You will see that I am still in MISSOURI but I want to get OUT of MISSOURI so I can have a really good life. I want to see MISSOURI in my rear view mirror. A nice person came along and took me in and, now, I am ready to hit the road to your house! Uh, make that “our” house, OK? I need for our house to have a tallish, highly-secure fence. I watch National Geo and I like to explore! Let's explore together instead of me, on my own! Don't show me any rabbits, birds, cats or chickens or I may leave you in the dust to catch them!!!

Wanna know more about me? OK, here goes! I am a Beagle mix. I am 2-years old. I weigh 62 pounds. I have had all of my shots and been neutered. YIKES! I am also potty-trained. Pretty smart, huh?

Those funny-looking creatures, named humans, I think they are called, told me that they think that I am pretty darn cute. What do YOU think, huh?

Can you stand hearing more good stuff about me? I am full of fun and personality. I get along and like to play with all dogs with my same zest for play. I need lots of stimulation and exercise. I spend my days playing with my foster brothers. We love each other.

I am a big happy goof so older kids would be better for me. I love kids and adults. Oh, how I would love to have my own home and some peeps to cuddle with and they could love me and take good care of me. That is my first dream! My second dream is all about treats and playing and romping with my new family. Ah, I can see it all now!

My foster mom loves me SO much that she only wants me to fly to my new home even if a pet transport truck was available. See my adoption information below.

If you would like to take me home (and you know you do), please email puppalace2011@gmail.com and she can get me on my way to a new and loving home! My adoption fee is $400 USD and includes my vetting, neutering, microchip, health certificate, travel crate AND transportation on United Airlines from St. Louis, MO to areas in the Northeast U. S., North Central U. S., Northwest U. S., and Canada and will be arranged by the rescue group. (This is a courtesy posting.)
