My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Peaches and Buster - This dynamic duo have awesome personalities and are super fun and loving to hang with! They were spoiled all their life and very loved.  Their senior dad couldn't take care of them any more so here we are praising their attributes in hopes of finding a new wonderful loving home.

Buster and Peaches are both are up to date on their shots and in good health.  Buster is a very loving and sweet Miniature Pincher. Although he is 11-years-old, he has more energy than a younger dog.  He loves taking walks and cuddling on the couch. He is a very smart dog and is learning new behaviors easily. He does like to bark at times, just to say hello to the world; however, he learned quickly to not bark inside and to go outside in the backyard to let his voice be heard.  Buster loves being outside and enjoys sitting in the sun.

Peaches is a beautiful 3 year old Chinese Crested Powder Puff. She is very shy at first, but once she warms up to people she is extremely loving. She has also been learning new behaviors. Her favorite place to be is laying on her back, on your lap or next to you getting her belly rubbed. Peaches will bark to inform you if you have any visitors on your property. She protects her space and lets people know it is hers. Because Peaches has hair instead of fur, she needs to be brushed daily and groomed at least once a month.  She also  likes to sleep on the armrest or back of the couch, so it would be nice if they could be allowed on furniture.

Peaches has been with Buster since she was a puppy. Although they are very connected, we are open to consideration for any great adoption situation.

The dogs can be walked on separate leashes, but came to us with a double leash which they really enjoy. They both love riding in the car. Buster enjoys the back seat, but Peaches would rather sit up front. They are  potty  trained, using puppy pads if they are not able to go outside when they  have to go.

They would do better in a house with at least a small backyard. Our backyard is off a busy street and, in the beginning, it was stressful for both dogs, Peaches more than Buster, but they have both adjusted nicely. They would also do better in a home with no small animal ie rats, hamsters, etc. Buster has a hunters instinct and fixates on the smells.  They were both raised with a dog friendly cat - if you have a cat - cat that runs, it would not be a good fit. T hey are not very good dog park dogs yet. Buster enjoys being at the park, but becomes upset when the other dogs start running around. Peaches becomes very anxious and does not enjoy herself - to much open space.

They are both very sweet and loving dogs and super funny - they have lots of silly behaviors and love to play and wrestle around each other - Busters the brains and Peaches is the partner in crime.

These are fantastic dogs - separate or together - we look forward to placing them in the very best home :)
