My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

IZZY

Chihuahua Mix | White/Black | 4 Year Old Female | Small (11-25 lbs.) | Available for Adoption

Izzy loves everyone. She loves to go on walks jumps and whines at the door once her foster grab a poop bag or leash! She loves car rides, she’s been to Denver and back with her foster at Christmas last year.

She loves to hang out on the couch. She does bark when someone walks by the front window ( doggy TV ) but she doesn’t bark in the yard like when the neighbors are out. She is not a runner at all, she roams the front yard without running off- however if she saw a cat or something she would run after it. She will play with squeaky toys if her foster actually plays with her, but never by herself. Izzy loves to sleep under a blanket on the bed, her  fosters joke that she’s their  Birdie- cover her and she’s out for the night. .

Of course potty trained NOT pad trained tho. Out side pee pee. Poop. What else? She loves to eat- Rumba is her nick name in the kitchen.  . She’s more a lap dog than play type. Lazy! Never ever tore a thing up! She’s friendly with her foster brother,, Ziggy, but doesn’t play with him.
Before coming into rescue she was in a home where her momma experienced domestic voilence, she still is shy and sinks her head down to floor when picked up . We wouldn’t say she likes bath day but she never fights when in the sink but she loves to get brushed.

Izzy is a 1 person dog and will pick her favorite in the home.
