Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi there! My name is Sissy and I am an eight (8) year old female pit bull mix. They call me Sissy because I am a really good sister to my canine foster sisters.
I really LOVE to gallop into the kitchen ahead of the human when it is time for breakfast or dinner! My foster mom is patient with me when I poke my head in the fridge to make suggestions on what she should put in my bowl. I like it when me and my foster sisters are finished with our meal and it is time for biscuits. We sit patiently and then catch our treats in our mouths!
My tail wags all the time. In fact, it wags so much that sometimes when it hits against the wall or couch, I think someone is behind me and take a look!
My foster sisters and I have figured out who is in charge of what in the house. When there is a cat in the backyard or when someone comes to the front door, I am the first one to sound the alarm! My foster mom had one of her friends bring over her small dogs to see how I would react to them. At first I was very curious about them, but after a while they were the ones following me.
I wouldn’t consider myself a cuddler, but I like it when humans pet me and give me hugs and kisses. When that is all over, I just go and lay down in one of my favorite spots in the house. I love to lay on couches because they are soft and comfortable for my older bones. I really like to be around humans, but I sleep by myself at night so I can guard the house.
I am spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated and available for adoption in the Los Angeles area. I am house-trained and know commands like sit and stay, and I really want a home I can call my own. Is it your home?
