Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sophie was in a high kill shelter in south Texas. She was found with a huge chain around her little neck, and was very skittish and sad. She is doing well, and is estimated to be between 5-6 months old. She will be ready to look for her home in about two weeks after she decompresses.

She seems to be very sweet and loving, and will need patience and time to show her what love is, and that she doesn't have to worry about where she will get her next meal or if the hands that feed her will also harm her.
