My story

My name is Ember. I was left in a box at the shelter by my owner's family with my other two cats house mates. We were all so scared. Luckily VFTA was called and came to our rescue. They say I am stunning Tortoiseshell cat with lovely markings. But I am very shy and need someone to play with me so I can learn to trust again. I am very curious and I LOVE to watch humans. They are interesting. Sometimes they bring me catnip and that losens me up. Will you play with me?  For more information or to set a meeting please contact adoption@vftafoundation.org or call 310-392-5153!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Interested adopters fill out a Pre-Adoption Questionnaire. We have them wait 24-48 hours to make sure they are interested. If the application looks good, we do a home check, and if approved they sign a two page contract. The adoption fees are $125 for cats and $250 for dogs.

Go meet their pets

Every Sunday at the Pacific Palisades Farmer's Market (in the US Bank parking lot at the corner of Sunset and Swarthmore) from 10:00am-1:00pm or by appointment.
