My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gilda is a 10 month old bundle of love and energy. She enjoys everything and everyone. She is vaccinated, heartworm negative, and spayed. This little chick weighs about 15 pounds and is agile and quick footed. Lap sitting, snuggling, going for walks, jogging, and being with her owner are right up her alley! She will need a home with no female dogs or cats or kids. She must have a securely FENCED yard. We hope her owner knows the Jack Russell Terrier personality because dogs like this are very active and energetic. She will need attention. If you are gone all day and have to leave her alone you are not the right home for her. Her adoption fee is $200 and you will need to fill out the online adoption application at www.russellrescue.com if you are interested in making her a part of your family. Gilda's adopter will need to drive to the Shreveport, LA area to get her. We will not do an out of state adoption for Gilda with the exceptions being Texas and Oklahoma.
