My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sadie is approx 1 yr old Cattle dog mix who weighs approx 42 lbs
She is a super sweet and playful young girl. We believe Sadie was dumped by her previous owner as she was found wondering in the farm fields in Brentwood. The Good Samaritan who found her brought her to the local pet store to have them scanned her for a microchip which she did not have one so the local pet store called our rescue to help with her and we have her in a foster home and have posted lost and found reports and as of yet no owner has come forward to claim her.
Sadie has been given her vaccinations and a health check by our veterinarian and she will be spayed at the end of November.
Sadie is a good girl that gets along well with other dogs. Although she seems to prefer dogs her size or smaller. She was in a foster home with a cat and was curious about the car but never chased it. Although when stray cats walked on the fence, she would run to chase them off. Her foster home also has young grandchildren that visit and Sadie was fine with the kids as long as they are gentle and respectful to her.Sadie is a young dog and is still learning manners. She gets excited when meeting people and wants to jump up to greet you but she has been quickly learning not to jump. She can also be a little mouthy when playing so her foster is working on that with her. Say he is very smart and learns quickly so we feel those things will be overcome with consistency.
Sadie is house trained and is very well-mannered in the house. She goes in a crate but does not like to be left alone while in the crate. She sleeps fine through the night in a doggie bed or in bed with you!
She walks well on a leash and does enjoy her daily walks!
Sadie can be a little anxious when left alone so we are working on her gaining more confidence and Independence.
Sadie is a great all-around family dog!
