My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet the super cute Batman! Batman is a handsome little guy with a gorgeous shiny black coat and small white markings.  Batman and his siblings and mama were dumped at a shelter when he was just 6 weeks old. His mama and his four siblings have since been adopted, and Batman was left alone looking for a home of his own. Batman is approximately 7 months old and is worried he will get overlooked for smaller younger kittens. Batman has a ton of kitten spunk and love, and is just dying to have a family to shower with his purrs and snuggles.

Batman was very wary of people when he first came into our rescue in the Fall. His story is truly one of second chances and transformation. Batman (and his siblings) required LOTS of socialization from his foster family including forced snuggle time till he/they became comfortable. For several weeks/months Batman was wary of people but slowly but surely blossomed into the social little guy he is today. Batman LOVES his people now! He 'talks' to his foster family all the time (we think the translation is 'give me treats please!'), follows his people from room to room, and loves to snuggle and be petted. Nothing would make him happier than to be stroked, petted and loved 24 hours a day while he purrs his day away snuggled with a family of his own. He is very playful and a spunky fellow. Batman has not only adapted to his busy foster family but has thrived! He currently resides with several children, cats, kittens, and a few dogs. Batman is good with other cats and would prefer a family with another cat that he can share life with. As much as he loves his humans, he enjoys his kitty snuggle time with a fellow cat in his current foster home. He does ok with dogs and simply ignores them. He would require a dog that will just leave him alone and he plans to do the same!

Batman is neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, de-wormed, on monthly flea, tick and ear mite prevention, and Felv/fiv negative. Batman's adoption fee is $100.  Batman is a special kitten who has come so very far in his short life. He cant wait to show his new family how very special he truly is.
