Petrena is a love bug. She is also special but in a different way than her sister. Petrena is extremely affectionate, playful, patient, loving, comical and friendly. No matter what, she always knows what her humans are doing and where they are. She loves to ride along on their shoulders if invited and be held like a baby by adults and children. Petrena loves to eat, play and be petted. She likes being around cats and dogs, and knows what the boundaries are with them. When it comes to grooming, Petrena tolerates it well. She has been given over six baths and only needs minimal scruffing to make her trust and comply. She also tolerates having her nails clipped regularly and being brushed. She has been raised to use a cardboard scratching box and a cat tree, and rarely has been seen scratching the corner of a couch if and when her nails getting longer. Petrena has also been disciplined with water bottles when she jumps on the counter and table. She responds well, but still needs to be reminded of this. Although Petrena is sweet, gentle and trusting of humans, she had a problem being scared when she was stupidly dried by her human with a blow dryer. In addition, she was startled when a little boy operated a remote control truck in the house near her unexpectedly. These were the only times Petrena ever scratched anyone. Petrena loves to eat and, if allowed to, will overeat. She responds to her name, 'NO, off, hungry or want to eat, and good girl.' Peteina is healthy, up-to-date on vaccinations, and microchipped.
