1/6/08 - Jackson is doing very well. He was neutered yesterday and everything went great. He doesn't like the e-collar, but it is a necessity for him. Jackson is a very sweet and loving little boy. He is definitely still in the puppy stage though. He is crate trained, but if left to roam the house he will mark his territory, but a belly band works perfectly on him for that. He does do both jobs outside though, we just think he is marking when he goes in his belly band in the house. He loves to play with the other dogs and is very gentle with the smaller kids. He and Pebbles, another foster living in the same home, play quite often. He will roll over on his back and let her stand on him and play. He also likes to chew on bones and on toys. He is a master at getting squeakers out of toys. He is a very loving little guy that enjoys being curled up next to you on the couch, belly rubs, walks and playing.

12/30/2008 - Hi! My name is Jackson. I was wandering the streets near Atkinson, NC. I was so lost and confused. I kept crossing the street over and over again looking for my family, but they were no where in sight. There weren't any houses around where I was, just a busy street with many cars and fields. Luckily for me, a sweet Yorkie Haven Rescue foster mom and dad were on their way to rescue a Yorkie, when they saw me and pulled over. They took me in to keep me from getting hit from the cars driving by and made me a Yorkie Haven foster pup in their family.

I am a very happy young boy who wags my tail a lot and LOVES attention. I do good on a leash and went for a walk the other morning with my foster dad! It was great fun, there are so many smells out there I had to check out. I took a trip to the dreaded vet yesterday morning. Luckily I am not heartworm positive and have been treated for the hookworms I do have. I have had some woodticks, but the doctor and my foster parents have pulled off most of them and foster mom gave me some stuff to get rid of the rest of them. Foster mom says I am up to date on all my shots except for the second booster. I get those on January 19th. I took a trip to the doggie boutique after the vet too, where I met lots of wonderful people and other pups. I was SOOOO excited to see everyone, they must have been there just to see me! Everyone kept telling me how cute I was and how well behaved too. They all loved me!
