Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, thanks for visiting. My name is Freya and I used to live in the BVI on Tortola. I lived through the strongest hurricane (IRMA) ever to hit the BVI. We lost everything. My master went back to South Africa, but he had some really nice friends Charlie and Kimberly rescue me and bring me to Chicago.
They have been really nice and have cared for me, but they already have a dog and a cat and spend a lot of time in the city. I need to run and play and jump, all things I love to do. I really like attention and love to cuddle. I jump up a lot, but Charlie and Kimberly have trained me to settle down when the they hold their hand over my head and say sit or down, it works most of the time.
I am a pretty good girl and potty outside most of the time. I am 1 1/2 years old so still learning, as I have been an island dog all my life. Charlie and Kimberly started to put me in a crate and I am okay with that but I know I don't potty inside there.
I have not been around little kids very much, but I run around with other dogs all the time. I do like to be spoiled and attention on me. I think you will like me and I will be a good member of your family. I miss my master and want to be loved for a long time.
